The League of Devotees is a network of temples and projects that are inspired by the example and teachings of A.C Bhakivedanta Swami Prabhupada.
For independent temples, initiatives and projects around the world we act as a support network, give advice and guidance and encourage fledging projects to grow and develop.
For organisations that are part of the League, we:
– Organise joint events
– Travel between temples and projects with our guest speakers and travelling preachers
– Provide support with marketing and promotion
– Offer advice and guidance with fundraising and grant applications
– Provide an opportunity for members of each temple to have access to diksha initiation in the line of A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada
– Offer seva/service opportunities for individuals
– Act as an ‘alliance of cooperation’ for independent temples
– Give members of each organisation a chance to attend retreats, kirtan festivals and experience ‘temple life’
For members of the public and individual devotees, we:
– Can link you up with your closest League of Devotees contact
– Offer you advice and guidance on how to set up your own project or small group
– Provide philosophical and pastoral advice on following bhakti yoga and how to apply the teachings to your life
